Privacy Considerations

Switching Between Methods

You can sign in with any connected method:

  1. Go to the sign-in page
  2. Choose any of your connected sign-in options
  3. Complete the sign-in process
  4. You'll access the same account regardless of which method you use

Troubleshooting

"Email already in use"

This means an account already exists with your email. You can:

  • Sign in with email/password instead
  • Reset your password if you've forgotten it
  • Link the social account after signing in with email

"Account not found"

If you've signed up with a social account but can't sign in:

  • Make sure you're using the same social account
  • Check if you signed up with a different email
  • Try the other sign-in methods

Authorization Failed

If the social sign-in fails:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try again in a few minutes
  • Make sure pop-ups aren't blocked
  • Try a different browser

Revoked Access

If you've revoked the platform's access from your social account:

  1. Remove the connection in the platform settings
  2. Re-link the account
  3. Authorize the permissions again

Security Tips

  1. Keep your social accounts secure — Use strong passwords and MFA on Google/GitHub
  2. Review connected apps periodically — Check what has access to your social accounts
  3. Use trusted devices — Be cautious when signing in on public computers
