Social Sign-In
Sign in to the platform with Google, GitHub, or other social accounts.
The platform supports sign-in with your existing social accounts, making it faster and easier to access your workspace without managing another password.

Sign In with Google
First-Time Sign-In
- Go to the Sign In page
- Click Continue with Google
- Select your Google account
- Review the permissions the platform is requesting
- Click Allow
- You're signed in!
If this is your first time, an account will be created automatically using your Google profile information.
What We Access
When you sign in with Google, we access:
- Your email address
- Your name
- Your profile picture
We never access:
- Your emails
- Your Google Drive files
- Your contacts
- Your calendar
Sign In with GitHub
First-Time Sign-In
- Go to the Sign In page
- Click Continue with GitHub
- Sign in to GitHub if prompted
- Review the permissions
- Click Authorize
- You're signed in!
What We Access
When you sign in with GitHub, we access:
- Your email address
- Your username
- Your profile picture
We never access:
- Your repositories
- Your code
- Your private profile information
Connecting Additional Accounts
You can link multiple sign-in methods to your account:
Link a New Provider
- Sign in with your existing method
- Go to Settings → Security
- Under Connected Accounts, find the provider you want to add
- Click Connect
- Authorize the connection
Benefits of Linking
- Flexibility — Sign in with whichever method is convenient
- Backup — If one method fails, use another
- Seamless — All methods access the same account and data
Unlinking Accounts
To disconnect a social account:
- Go to Settings → Security
- Under Connected Accounts, find the provider
- Click Disconnect
- Confirm the action
Important: You must have at least one sign-in method configured. You cannot unlink your only sign-in option.
Managing Connected Accounts
View Your Connections
- Go to Settings → Security
- Scroll to Connected Accounts
- You'll see all linked providers with connection dates
Privacy Considerations
- We only request necessary permissions
- Your social account passwords are never shared with us
- Authentication is handled securely by the provider
- You can revoke access at any time from your provider's settings
Switching Between Methods
You can sign in with any connected method:
- Go to the sign-in page
- Choose any of your connected sign-in options
- Complete the sign-in process
- You'll access the same account regardless of which method you use
Troubleshooting
"Email already in use"
This means an account already exists with your email. You can:
- Sign in with email/password instead
- Reset your password if you've forgotten it
- Link the social account after signing in with email
"Account not found"
If you've signed up with a social account but can't sign in:
- Make sure you're using the same social account
- Check if you signed up with a different email
- Try the other sign-in methods
Authorization Failed
If the social sign-in fails:
- Check your internet connection
- Try again in a few minutes
- Make sure pop-ups aren't blocked
- Try a different browser
Revoked Access
If you've revoked the platform's access from your social account:
- Remove the connection in the platform settings
- Re-link the account
- Authorize the permissions again
Security Tips
- Keep your social accounts secure — Use strong passwords and MFA on Google/GitHub
- Review connected apps periodically — Check what has access to your social accounts
- Use trusted devices — Be cautious when signing in on public computers
- Sign out when done — Especially on shared devices
